Moisture can still be trapped in places you can’t check, like concrete under flooring, or void spaces behind walls. Moisture trapped in these spaces promote mould growth and if it is inside a wall, mould can start growing into porous materials like timber framing and spread throughout your whole structure—mould in timber.
