Fire damage restoration cleaning: soot cleaner

How to clean soot off
With fire and smoke restoration, in places that have been affected by fire, we recommend first a dry chemical sponge clean a few times over. Once completed, we recommend using either using atomic degreaser or fire damage restoration cleaner to further remove soot. In addition, use a hepa air scrubber, preferably with an activated carbon filter to filter out ambient soot particles in the air and to tackle the odour. This combination should bring it down to safe levels. Unfortunately sometimes soot stains are completely hard to remove entirely, but with this approach, it will be safe to pain over once completed.
