Abatement Technologies Carbon Filter
This combined pre-filter/carbon filter (VL602) demonstrates exceptional efficacy in absorbing volatile organic compounds (VOCs). By harnessing the attributes of high porosity and expansive carbon surface area, in combination with its pre-filter material, this product offers an excellent means to reduce VOC concentrations and effectively eliminate persistent odors from the surrounding air.
Targets finer particles & Odours
The Vaporlock Carbon filter (VL602) is a 2 stage dual-purpose pleated filter. It combines both the effectiveness of a G4/merv 7 prefilter and a carbon filter into one, allowing it both to filter fine particles between 3.0-10 microns and absorb gasses and odours! This means you can filter airborne particulates like soot and odours such as smoke odour at the same time, in one prefilter! Combine this with your primary pre-filter and you have a highly effective air scrubber!
Common sizing
The sizing of the Abatement Vaporlock Carbon filters (VL602 Filters) are 400 x 400mm which is common to many 500CFM scrubbers. It’s 2 inch thickness combined with its dual-purpose pleated filter means that you only need this pre-filter and your primary filter to effectively scrub the air of particles & VOC’s / odours / gases.
These filters share the same dimensions as our 2 inch regular filters, and is compatible with:
