Makita 18V batteryÂ
The Makita battery system is a convenient way to power all your 18v Makita tools, giving you a cordless experience. This battery comes with a 4 bar battery level gauge to help indicate its current charge. It also sports a premium feature of a memory chip, that records and communicates usage history to the charger. This communication takes it a step further; considering battery heat or power overload, the power will be cut to stop damage either to the tool or battery.
It is designed to slot perfectly into a Makita 18V charger, and locks into place when fully slotted in–taking 60 minutes to charge. It’s easy-to-push release button makes it convenient then, to take it off the charger and into a Makita tool, and vice versa. This battery has also been designed with durability in mind. Knowing that many tradies use these in tough conditions, shock absorbers have been installed to absorb impact, ensuring the battery is protected.
