ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

A Centrifugal Air Mover (also known as a Snail air mover) is an ideal product to aid in water damage restorations. It is a low-set, protruding air outlet makes it especially ideal for drying spaces that are typically hard to reach. Such as moisture under carpets or cabinetry and inside wall or ceiling cavities. The machine can be set at four angles and has three different speed settings, further improving its versatility and functionality.

This unit can also be daisy-chained together with one or two other units. This allows three machines to run together on one circuit powered by a single outlet, without the need for extension cords. Power-efficient, each of these Centrifugal units draws a maximum of 4.7 amps depending on the speed setting. This air mover is easily transportable, and can be stacked for neat and space-efficient storage when not in use. The Microban antimicrobial protective housing is also designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mould and mildew in the machine, eliminating stains and odours from these pollutants.

Typical Uses

  • Carpet Drying –
    Due to its high static pressure output, these air movers are great for getting air underneath carpets. This technique is commonly referred to as “floating” carpet. It can be a great way to dry out carpets, underlaym and the subfloor at the same time.
  • Cabinetry Drying –
    Great for introducing air movement to wet cabinetry void spaces, due to its high static pressure output.
  • Wall, Ceiling and Basement Cavity Drying –
    Great for drying out void spaces where high static pressure is required to maintain airflow across the surfaces. This unit can be ducted or vented in different ways to introduce airflow into smaller spaces.
  • Structural Drying –
    Great jack-of-all-trades air mover, used in the industry to dry building materials in multiple water damage situations.
