Hepa air filter / Air scrubber
Introducing IAQ Pro’s AS500Commercial Air Scrubber, an HEPA air filter scrubber with over 500 CFM +. This air scrubber is effective in scrubbing ambient air of dust particles and air contaminants such as mould, silica dust, soot, saw dust, germs, viruses and more with the use of H13 HEPA filters, a secondary pre-filter and a primary filter. As such they help mitigate risks of hazardous dusts from affecting respiratory systems of nearby occupants and other adverse health affects.
H13 HEPA Filters / Difference compared to the AS650
Agile Equipment sources both the primary filter and the prefilters for the AS500, ensuring you do not have to worry about sourcing the replacements. This filter is larger, with a bigger inlet ensuring more particulates can be captured. The AS500 & AS650 in reality may have similar CFM depending on the situation, but the AS650 is more compact and lighter, whilst the AS500 is bigger with a larger filter. Additionally the AS650 fits 300mm ducting, and is easily compatible with layflat. The AS500 is suited for 400mm ducting.
AS500 Features
This unit weights 15kg and is quite compact for a commercial air scrubber. This 500 CFM air scrubber has a strong durable rotomolded plastic chassis which can absorb impacts and scratches. It has convenient handle, and a rubber foam lid to cover the intake when not used. To open, simply undo the latches and remove the lid. From there, simply undoing the notches that hold the filter in place, you can easily replace the primary and secondary h13 hepa filters. This flat, low profile design means that it can be easily stacked and stored in even the smallest of vans thanks to its design.
