What is a brushed / brushless driver?
Simply put, brushed drivers use small metal brushes that help the mages keep the shaft spinning, whilst brushless drivers use an electronic board with a sensor to achieve the same feat. The difference between the two lies in their advantages and disadvantages. Brushless drivers are more energy efficient, more responsive and can generatre more torque, speed and power. Additionally, because there are no brushes, they don’t need replacement brushes every 50-60 hours of use like brushed drivers do and as such, brushless drivers tend to last longer. Brushed drivers however, tend to be more affordable, and can get the job done.  Brushless drivers are a premium, high quality driver drills that out perform and live longer than their brushed counterparts.
