Introducing the Makita Brushless Backpack Vacuum Kit, powered by 2 x 18v Makita batteries (DVC261TX13). This Vacuum, weighing in at only 4.5kg with the batteries, makes it one the lightest backpack vacuums on the market and is great for cleaning up the workspaces. Because of its 152mm depth on the head, the vacuum has a low profile and can avoid many obstacles when vacuuming. Because of its adjustable straps, telescopic pole (600mm-950mm) and its light weight nature, this backpack vacuum is suitable for all heights and builds. There is a corded remote, attached to belt of the unit, that lets you select 3 different speeds for the right amount of power and suction that your situation requires.
Makita Battery & Run Time
In this kit, not only does it come with the DVC261 vacuum unit, but also 2x 18V 5.0Ah Batteries (BL1850B) and Dual Port Rapid Charger (DC18RD). This means that when buying this kit, the batteries and charger can be used with any other 18v Makita products, making it very convenient. The dual 18v 5.0Ah batteries allow for a 40 minute run time on max and up to 140 minutes on the lowest setting. This means that it has enough power to clean any worksite.
HEPA filtration
The DVC261 sports a 2 stage filtration process, the first being its 1.5L reusable cloth bag, and more importantly, its HEPA filter which filters 99.7% of particulates down to 0.3 microns. With HEPA filtration, you can have piece of mind when vacuuming mould. It’s 1.5 cloth reusable cloth bag makes it convenient to dispose of dust. With 36L/s air flow capacity, this has more than enough power to effectively vacuum your work area.
