Makita surface scanner
Introducing Makita’s 18V Surface Scanner (DWD181ZJ), which is able to scan walls and surfaces 180mm deep to detect any embedded objects such as pipes, timber, shielded wire, plastic and more. Being able to detect embedded objects in walls and surfaces can give you piece of mind when drilling or cutting. The surface scanner has different selectable material modes for different surfaces to be scanned including concrete, plaster board/dry wall, wood and besser-brick/hollow brick.
Features
Its in built wheels help the surface scanner glide against the surface with ease. Additionally, it projects straight laser lines in either direction, to help guide a straight path in its scanning. This surface scanner is accurate, keeping its locations within a leeway of +/- 5mm in depth and horizontal axis. It includes a job light and a fully lit 4″ display for low light situations, and for clear reading.
Makpac Case (821550-0)
This tool comes Makpac Connector Case Type 2, meaning that its carry case is able to stack with other makpac cases, interlocking and tessalating; It is put on a Makita trolley conveniently. Makpac cases can even attach directly onto other Makita products such as the Makita VC006GM 80V backpack vacuum.
