Makita Backpack Vacuum
Introducing Makita’s Brushless 36V Backpack Vacuum (DVC265ZXU) which operates of 2 x 18V Makita batteries. This backpack vacuum weighs 4.5kg, and is a portable, cordless vacuum which can operate at 40 minutes run time at maximum suction or 65 minutes on low. This convenience means that no place is out of reach for vacuuming, even in places where cords cannot reach, or where power is not accessible. This unit includes a hose at 38mm as well is a joint cuffs for 32-22mm and a 22mm join cuffs; this means that the Brushless 36V Backpack Vacuum can connect to a large variety of Makita tools such as Makita’s dry wall cutter. The backpack vacuum is also ergonomically designed with a padded straps and a padded waist belt, all of which helps distribute the weight evenly. The waist belt holds the controller for ease of use for turning it off or on, for pairing and for changing the speeds.
AWS – Auto Start Wireless System
This vacuum has the AWS system fitted on the device. Many tools create dust when they operate on materials which can cause a hazard. Makita vacuums with AWS have been optimised to work in conjunction with these tools to mitigate these hazards, by extracting exactly when the tool operates (or just after). To do this, the AWS system uses a pairing system through bluetooth. Simply press the pairing button on both AWS Makita tools, and wait for them to pair up. Afterwards, these tools will operate seamlessly in conjunction with one another.
HEPA filtration
The DVC265ZXU sports a 2 stage filtration process, the first being its 1.5L reusable cloth bag, and more importantly, its HEPA filter which filters 99.7% of particulates down to 0.3 microns. With HEPA filtration, you can have piece of mind when vacuuming mould. It’s 1.5 cloth reusable cloth bag makes it convenient to dispose of dust. With 36L/s air flow capacity, this has more than enough power to effectively vacuum your work area.
