Makita Battery Charger
This kit (199179-3) is a Makita Charging kit. Its charger is a 18V rapid battery charger with with a single port and comes with 2 x 5.0Ah battery as well! It’s rapid charging means that the 5.0ah battery takes 45 minutes to charge! When fully charge, the charger emits a customisable audio tone to alert the user when the battery is at full charge. The battery and the charger itself is kept cool thanks to the forced air cooling systems, enabling the system to charge at efficient speeds. Additionally, it also has a display that indicates the current battery status.
This charger (DC18RC) has a built-in CPU which helps gather information from the battery’s memory chip, identifying the most effective and optimal charge time by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature.
