Makita Sprayer / Disinfectant Sprayer Combo 

Introducing Makita’s 18V 5L sprayer with customised flat head spray jet, making it specialised for remediation situations & unique to Agile Equipment. This Sprayer combo is specialised for remediation purposes and restorers, particularly for disinfection and sterilisation of surfaces for thorough deep cleaning. It can also be used to evenly apply cleaning agents onto surfaces in general.  The 18V 5L Sprayer, DUS054Z, has a 5L tank and is designed to worn comfortably with the included shoulder strap. With a 6.0Ah battery, this sprayer can last up to 8 hours of operation, meaning it can last a whole job day if needed. For ease of continuous use, a lock on lever has been implemented so that technician’s can leave the trigger engaged for long periods of time, to avoid hand fatigue.

Detachable Body / Interchangeable heads & extendable lance
The 5L tank can be easily detached so that intended cleaning agents such as Benefect’s Decon 30 or IAQ PRO’s Chlor Clean can be easily poured into the tank and for efficient mixing. Additionally, the double jet head comes complimentary with the unit, and can be used to spray chemical in multiple directions, making it easy to apply to plants and bushes.  It lance can also be extended for ease of reach.

How can it be used for remediation?
When cleaning it is important to get a deep as possible clean, which means cleaning to the best of your ability and ensuring no spot has been missed. This Makita sprayer, with its specialised flat spray head, ensures that the jet evenly disperses the cleaning agent in a straight line. With slow, steady and systematic application, the user can ensure that every bit of the intended surface has been covered by the cleaning agent/disinfectant/cleaning chemical. In deep cleans, we may recommend first applying mixed Benefect’s Atomic cleaner with microfibre cloths to physically remove as much bacteria or offending particulates as possible of the surface. Afterwards, using Benfect’s Decon 30 with the Makita sprayer can help target and mitigate residual bacteria or offending particles that the initial clean could not reach. Leaving the agent on the surface for a while will increase dwell time and can help to kill bacteria more effectively. Lastly using clean microfibre cloths, wipe away what has been sprayed. It can also be used to apply carpet prespray to large carpeted areas such as conference halls and hotels.
